David Turkel-Parrella, M.D.

David Turkel-Parrella, M.D., of Interventional Neuro Associates in East Hills and Brooklyn, New York, began his medical career a short distance from where he practices as a board-certified neurologist.​

He received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Turkel-Parrella completed his residency training in neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and then completed a fellowship in vascular neurology at Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences in South Orange, New Jersey.

Finally, Dr. Turkel-Parrella completed a three-year endovascular neurosurgery fellowship at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine in Ontario. He was the first neurologist in Canada to train in this field. With specializations in vascular neurology and endovascular neurology, he has published and presented his nationally and internationally research.

Dr. Turkel-Parrella is a senior member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery and is licensed to practice medicine in New York and New Jersey. He takes an individualized, caring approach to treat patients at Interventional Neuro Associates.
