Karthikeyan Arcot, M.D., of Interventional Neuro Associates in East Hills and Brooklyn, New York, is interested in treating patients of all ages with acute ischemic stroke, intracranial aneurysms, and vascular malformations of the central nervous system.

About Dr. Arcot

After beginning his medical education in Bangalore, India, Dr. Arcot graduated from St. John’s Medical College. Dr. Arcot came to the United States to complete his residency in neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Arcot completed a fellowship in vascular neurology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Following that, he completed an additional fellowship training in endovascular surgical neuroradiology at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn (then called NYU Lutheran Medical Center) under the supervision of Dr. Jeffrey Farkas.

Dr. Arcot presents his research on strokes and aneurysms at national and international medical conferences. He also authored a book chapter, “Neurovascular Imaging of the Acute Stroke Patient.” Dr. Arcot is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology.

As one of Brooklyn’s foremost neurologists, Dr. Arcot is double board-certified in neurology and vascular neurology. Dr. Arcot is currently an attending physician in the Department of Neurology and Department of Interventional Neuroradiology at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn.
His expert knowledge, clinical excellence, and dedication to the highest standards of patient care earned him a 2016 Top Doctor Award in Brooklyn.

Along with his colleagues at Interventional Neuro Associates, Dr. Arcot treats patients of all ages for a wide range of neurological conditions.
